The Beginning
PizzaScape wasn’t always PizzaScape! We were first founded in 1951 under the mantle “Pete’s Pizzeria” by founder Pete Wagnoly! We opened our first location just off of 56th street in the more southern part of Oakwood Texas! We may have been small, but the taste of our one of a kind pizza was huge!

The Boom!
As the late 50’s rolled in so did a demand for Pete’s Pizzeria quality taste! In just a few months Pete had to extend his family business’ capacity and hire on his first ever employees!

New look! New Taste! New Place! With the swinging 60’s speeding in, Pete’s Pizzeria unveiled it’s new location along with a trusty mascot! Pete’s Pizzeria also adopted more cosmic inspired aesthetics as the space race in America was in full throttle.

End of an Era
The mind and heart that pumped life into this company went to rest on December of 1975. Although the cause of his passing was unknown, the effects of it were truly felt. Pete’s last contribution was to rename the company ‘PizzaScape’ because he wanted children everywhere to leave their worries at the door and let their happiest dreams soar with every bite! In memoriam, the mascot of PizzaScape was given the name ‘Pizza Pete’.
